Great job, and I loved the twist where we found out they'd been asleep for six months! And I was so not perving over the new confident, no-crap-taking Goku, noooo, not at all... Of course the saddest line was:

“He didn’t recognise me,” Sanzo said tonelessly.

T_T Poor Sanzo. Even if he kinda deserves a kick in the pants of a sort to teach him not to take Goku for granted. I can't wait to see the rest of this!
