It does and it doesn't irk me. I feel like I'm cheapening her when I refer to her as 'that girl' but at the same time by not giving her a name she remains a mystery, where the answers are only for Goku to see; not even us readers are allowed to take part in this secret. And in a way this makes sense, 'cause spending time with and getting close to someone that isn't either the other three is a first for Goku (dis-including Nataku), it's something that he can claim as his own.
