Random thoughts.

Firstly. I've just gotten back from watching 'Batman Begins'. Probably the best movie I've seen in a while. (Haven't seen Sin City, just so that people don't jump me). Christian Bale is just too perfect for the part - then again, I might be biased, cause I adore him, ever since 'Equilibrium'. Just my kind of movie, both of these.

Of course, it's Hollywood, so cheesy dialogue did happen, but I was pleasantly surprised at how the "romantic" plot unfolded. *thumbs up* Pity the girl won't be in the next movie, I liked her. She had spite.

Morgan Freeman rocked, but that is his default option, so no surprise there. Liam Neeson will forever be the Qui-Gon figure, no matter how evil he gets in the end. *grins* No, really good work here. He has that air of self assured tough guy, bent on saving the world. Good to see a villain who has someone else's interest in mind, taking over the world is horribly cliche.

The special effects or lack thereof - frankly, I am so impressed. Such a visual movie and such minimal CG. Deeply impressed with action scenes. Show exacty what needs to be shown, nothing more, nothing less. Was also deeply impressed with the fact that Batman spoke in a deep, breathy, sorry-bronchitis-calling way. Seems like someone finally remembered that yes, people can be recognised by their voice.

All in all - a very satisfying way to spend two and a half hours.

Oh yeah. I feel obliged to inform that I seem to have developed a serious Saiyuki fetish. And I mean serious. If someone gets a heart attack, cause there's not enough Duo around, you have [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai and [livejournal.com profile] regina_sama (major huggage) to blame. *grins*

Oh, I do agree. I was referring mainly to the fact that she didn't scream and wait for the hero to save her everytime a mouse jumped, but kicked back once in a while.

You don't say. *pouts* It already feels cosy, after GW, what with the boys being numerical for some reason. *grins*

That's true, and normally I would love that but she just really rubbed me up the wrong way for some reason!

*coughfoursomecough* Gosh, can't think why that is ^_~!

Oh, and I got your CDs *twirls you*! So I am sending some adoration your way for a change *snugs you for good measure*!

Could the reason be her hollier-than-thou attitude towards everyone who didn't spend their lives fighting against the system? *grins*

I dunno about the foursome (though Merula did a neat foursome recently), but it does have ... possibilities. *grin*

Yay! Huggage! *huggles back* Into the world of psychotic blue counts you go?

*grins* I couldn't have put it better myself ^_~!

It does, although if I'm honest I have problems with Goku being paired up with anyone because he just seems too young. My favourite pairings are Sanzo/Gojyo, Sanzo/Hakkai and Sanzo/Gojyo/Hakkai ^_^!

Into the world of psychotic blue counts you go?

Indeed!
