SPN OMG!

I'm catching up on Supernatural, finally. I missed quite a few episodes. The latest episode just blew my mind. The time Sam spent without Dean, and what happened with him... It's like he lost his soul. And he was begging the Trickster to give him Dean back, like it was the only thing in the world that mattered to him. Probably because it was. How heartbreaking his expression was after it was Wednesday again.

Dream a Little Dream of Me had Dean facing up to his daddy issues, at long last. I dig. :) No seriously, there's no denying the fact that I'm a die-hard Dean fan. I love his moment of honesty and the ending of the episode was great. *snaps fingers*

Bela stole the colt. Seriously, I personally don't mind her in the show, an evil human is cool. Still, I have no desire to see her redeemed - can she be redeemed, even? The woman is evil, she has no conscience, I can't see her being a love interest to either of the boys, especially not Mr Save As Many People As Possible And Protect Sammy. If Dean doesn't shoot her at some point I shall be very disappointed. Also, any sob story? Sure as hell won't excuse her actions. I sincerely hope the writers and Kripke realise that.

Right then. I don't know if any of you saw the movie Holiday - I saw it when it first came out, and now it's showing on TV. Still think the same thing I thought then, Kate Winslet's plotline was great. It was funny, it was sweet and heart warming. Cameron Diaz's was cheesy, lame and eyeroll-y. Guess which one got more screen time.

Damn, I need to get caught up on Supernatural myself, I've only seen a bit of Season 2 so far. *sweatdrop* I'm a bit more curious now. ^_^

Do catch up! SPN is all kinds of sparkly and shiny, except maybe the bits that have Bela in it (although she did get Dean into a tux once, so she gets points there). She is wee annoying. But gods, the latest was just wonderful. And full of "sibling incest subtext". Season two has some brilliant episodes - "What Is And What Should Never Be", the finale - these made me wibble so hard.

So yeah. *shoos you to watch*

We just watched those two episodes of SPN this morning and loved them both. If I had to pick favourite moments from them, it would be Dean as a demon *yum* plus I loved the fact that Dean actually had to face up to the fact that he doesn't want to die and go to hell. In the last episode it would be when Dean says, 'I love it when you take control, Sammy!' LOL, but seeing Sam without Dean was heartbreaking ;_;!

demon!Dean had me staring in disbelief. I couldn't believe they found a way to make Dean hotter. XD I loved him finally admitting all the things he must've been repressing all this time. Question: do you think the "take care of Sammy" was more Dean or more John?

Mystery Spot was particularly heavy on the subtext, I thought. I know Jensen is a work of art, but did we really need all those close ups of him gurgling water? Alright, we did, obviously, but you know what I mean! And really, Sam without Dean looked, literally, as if he'd lost his soul.
