SPN, again.

Sister made me watch Mystery Spot again with her. I've been wondering, why did Trickster contact Sam? He didn't have to do anything and seriously, he's practically a god. He can do anything to amuse himself. But he didn't. He found Sam, he taunted him with what was undoubtedly true (this is what life will be, without Dean), then turned back time because Sam asked him? I know Sammy's puppy eyes are powerful, but I don't think they're that powerful.
“That’s for me to know,” Trickster says, “and for you to find out.”
The snap takes more effort than anything Trickster has ever done. He does it only because he knows that Dean Winchester died from a bullet that Wednesday, and ever since the weight accumulating on his chest has been choking the air he doesn’t need out of him.
And if a god-like being was asphyxiating…
Trickster made the call. He gave Sammy his brother back. His sense of humour might be twisted and aberrant, but the death of the world is not something he can laugh at.
