My literature teacher gave us this poem once while I was in High School. It's by Wislawa  Szymborska, a Polish Nobel-winner. Can't remember when exactly she won it, but it wasn't long ago. It's been translated by Joanna Maria Trzeciak. And - well, I haven't quite remembered this when I was writing about Heeyu, but one some level it probably was a part of inspiration. And it's a lovely poem.

Also - try and guess my favourite line. :D

Another thing. Mildly amusing. There is a custom, that when a pope dies his ring and seal is destroyed. Paraphrasing one of the many similar comments - "Wow, it took them only a week to get to Mount Doom!" >___< Seriously.

Okay. Have now written: 1 random poem, 1 sonnet, 1 villanelle. 1 short drama. 1 vignette, 1 PoV piece (also short) and a beginning of a light haunted mansion story. That's 7 pieces. Need three more.

Most likely will settle for haikus. And all that for Tuesday! And, just to make my life more complete, I need to write a 2,000 words essay for Thursday. Wish me luck!
