I had Shakespeare class this morning. I started chatting with Kat, and we were having such a good time that we just kept chatting and going around the campus taking care of various businesses. So when she said she wants to check out the bone marrow donation thing, I went along.
And ended up signing up. o___O
This is somewhat of a problem, in terms of me not being a UK citizen and not having a fixed address. Of course, I asked, they said it's not a problem, as long as I plan on staying for the next three or so years, and if I don't I should just let them know.
On the other hand, it makes me happy to have done this. Though now I feel really guilty for being white. Good thing I'm a girl, or else I would have had a mental breakdown, because of being so priviledged, when this guy explained all about bone marrow (did you now it's the same consistency and colour as crandberry juice?) and how there is not enough ethnic minorities volunteering to donate, so white people are far more likely to find a donor.
