Who is made of awesome?

I gave in and saw the Golden Compass movie dubbed. And, as predicted, it sucked. The dubbing, I mean. The film was okay. Not spectacular, but good. A little too dumbed down, and by that I mean the dialogue, so it's a little hard to watch it without rolling your eyes once or twice. It is fairly faithful to the book (unlike Dark is Rising) and the overall plot is intact (unlike Dark is Rising). And that's just about everything I have to say on the subject. IMDb boards most entertaining. *grins*

I did this as an exercise before the few realistic commissions I see looming in my future. ^____^ Figured I need it. Used a reference for the face. ( Move over, Harry Potter )

In other news, the express commission are progressing. ^_____^ Hope to have them all finished before Christmas. Which is not that much of an accomplishment, since I started... a long time ago ... but still. :D
