Fairy tales.
Nov. 10th, 2011 02:17 amI'm oddly swamped with work. It turns out I'm in a whuzzit, research circle? For which I'm supposed to prepare a presentation for Tuesday. Plus I have two reports due this week (one is fairly easy, for a report, but the other is for this crazy guy, who is crazy, so it will be hell to write). Plus a quiz on Thursday. Oh, and some harmonic oscillator thing that I need to review for Monday.
NaNo is unfortunately slower than I would have liked. :( I'm keeping up, but it's a struggle, sadly. Worst of all, I'm 14k in and I'm not sure where I'm going with it. Eh, I say. Of course the XMFC carwash AU now has 3,5k of an unbearably adorable sequel, and I haven't even gotten to the proposal.
Still, I planned to hit at least a k last night, and came up with this -- originally it was supposed to be the Andersen tale, but then I started writing and I feel this is a pretty spiffy fairy tale on its own. It's only about 1,3k.
