oh my. *ogles* I love the colour scheme, and the burnt wind/sand-blown quality of the colouring - makes the pic seem like something out of a memory that's fast disappearing. brings this whole... nostalgic, ache-y feeling to mind. *worships* rather like the feeling I try to bring across in some of my fics - a picture really does speak a thousand words.

and that drabble is well done. some concrit for you, if you'll take it...? colours as sound - nice idea, and you pulled it off perfectly. 'a drop tears from the metal' - nice imagery there, and the reader (or just me) imagines both the drop tearing (ripping) from the metal, and the metal weeping. ^_^ 'all of sudden' is missing an 'a', though. I think it's 'descent' instead of 'descend', too: the first is a noun, the second a verb I think.
