Wooohooo!! X-men: The Last Stand. Also, just finished Good Omens.

Let me just say, I enjoyed the movie. Part 2 was better (Kurt Wagner!), but I did enjoy it. *nods* Also, hang around for the credits. I haven't, but there is an additional scene. I hear we can expect X-men 4. o.O

Things I liked:
- The Phoenix being a part of Jean thing. Makes a whole lot more sense than some creepy omnipotent entity from outer space.
- Jean/Logan stuff. And no mistake.
- Iceman vs. Pyro.
- Magneto getting zapped.
- The reminders that Magneto and Xavier were friends, till the end.
- Xavier dying (cause, you know, it made sense, from the movie point of view).
- Hugh Jackman's butt in the uniform. *rowr*

Things I didn't like:
- The ending. If muslim fundamentalists just destroyed something, which included people, we sure as hell wouldn't get all chummy with them the next day.
- Rogue getting the cure. Makes sense, but I'm gonna miss the mutant Rogue!
- The speech Logan makes, just before they leave. Whatever happened to "you may not come home, she may not come home, are you ready for that?" That would be something Wolverine would say! I did like the scenes with him and Rogue, very much. *nod*

Things I'm still not sure about:
- The whole Angel thing. I expected more. I liked it as it was, but I felt there could have been more.
- The "Xavier being no better than Them, for controlling Jean" thing. I expected more. Well, apart from her killing him. The issue was somewhat unresolved.

I started squealing when they showed the Omen trailer. I sat there, expecting a black Bentley to appear. *grins* Also? Aziraphale + Crowley = love.

This little Saiyuki scene I mentioned to

solanum_d? It's evolving. Into a fic. Also, the Supernatural drabble is growing. x.X

I totally had to skip the entire entry because I'm going to see the movie tomorrow and don't want any spoilers. XD

I did, however, notice that your drabble has taken on a life of its own apparently. I'm really looking forward to reading it. ^_^

I had very mixed emotions on the movie.

As for Xavier dying... I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DID THAT! I feel that he would definately die for the cause, but I feel that in the end, he didn't accomplish anything, so his death was pretty much in vain. Plus, he didn't even try to not die. That's not the Xavier I was expecting.

Friends to the end, I loved. The very last scene pretty much made me cry. His chess partner is gone forever. It was sad as hell.

I feel the same about the Angel thing. He was just like "Hi, I exist." And... that was it. Weak.

One of my major complaints: They tried to fit too much in only 1 hour and 43 minutes. They easily could have made it 2 and a half hours and it would have done wonders for the crazy plot.

Blah. My boyfriend-not-boyfriend made this huge conspiracy theory up and SWEARS there will be a forth one. It'll never happen... but whatever.

The prologue to the movie is pretty much Jean and Angel, and all the latter actually does is look pretty and symbolic. 1:43? They could easily extend that, by at least half an hour.

Ah, but did you wait for the extra scene after the credits? Keeping in mind the Lookit!Plotpoint, AKA the lesson Xavier has when he shows them the vid with the man in a coma?

Did you see the chess piece move?

And I hear there will be a fourth, if this one cashes in. *nods*

NUUUU! I didn't see that! OMG I MUST SEE IT AGAIN!

A FOURTH?! GOOD GOD, RAY WAS RIGHT...

*grins* There you go. Don't feel bad, I missed the extra scene too!

On top of that, I hear there were plans to make "Wolverine" and "Magneto" movies. Lol.
