Pictures coming in a minute. ^_______^
ETA: anyone who is into Final Fantasy VII, could you read and comment on this? It's short - 460 words. Sister finally is coming out of her no-intrahwebs shell. I think it's quite good, and with some polishing and a word of encouragement she'll grow up to join the ranks of pervy fangirls. :D
She was really pretty, with the kind of charm that immediately wins over every heart. She looked like a porcelain doll, pink-lipped and wide-eyed.
She was maybe four years old.
“What’re you doing here?” Gojyo asked, once the final demon of the cluster fell and revealed the little girl curled on the ground. She was dirty and her little face was streaked with tears.
She blinked at him, tearfully. “I can’t find my daddy,” she said and even though she was crying, her voice was steady. Gojyo, not famed for his powers to resist women and children, hastily put away the blood-splattered shakujou he wielded and knelt next to her.
“Where did you last see him?” he asked, taking a discrete look around. He winced. It would take hours to confirm a presence of a human on the field, on the grounds that everyone who wasn’t standing – or, in the case of many a demon, lunging – was soaking into the ground. Unless Hakkai got to them first, in which case they were smouldering on the ground.
“We were home,” she said, “and I was playing and climbing a tree and suddenly there was a flash and it all disappeared!”
Behind the both of them the final demon fell at the business end of Sanzo’s gun by the sound of it. Gojyo turned to his friends, reluctant to explain the sudden complication – a girl, seriously – when the little girl by his side squealed.
“Daddy!” tore from her throat and she was running, her eyes clenched shut not to look at the bloodstained earth around them.
Gojyo thought his jaw might get unhinged when she launched herself at Goku and buried her face in his hip. By the looks of the other three, he wasn’t the only one to experience a state beyond shock.
Hakkai’s expression was suddenly a lot more polite than usual. Sanzo forgot to assume an expression in general, he was staring at the proceedings with total incomprehension written across his features. Gojyo knew that brand of incomprehension on Sanzo though: it usually preceded a sudden understanding and a bloodbath.
Goku, the plot point of the little disruption, was just looking down, wide-eyed.
“Uh,” the monkey managed. “What?”
In the end they got into the Jeep, the girl snuggled into Goku’s arms. Whatever this one was about, contemplating would surely be easier in a nearby village than at a scene of a massacre. She only let go long enough to climb into his lap, latching her thin arms around his neck. Goku patted her back awkwardly and tried not to move too much.
“This is one thing I certainly didn’t expect,” said Gojyo. He was trying to avoid staring at Goku and his little luggage. For one thing, if that was a legitimate claim – which it definitely wasn’t – then his brain was already running down a list of potential Gojyo Juniors. Boy, was that a fate he didn’t wish on any kid.
If it wasn’t a legitimate claim (which certainly was the case), it would be hilarious, at a later date.
Because Goku? And a kid?
Gojyo was reasonably sure nothing stranger had ever happened. Although if Sanzo was allowed to stew and boil a little while longer then they might witness a jealous fit from his highness, complete with screaming and shooting, and that would truly be something special. Sanzo didn’t see it coming yet, but Gojyo had an inkling it was brewing, behind that neutral-but-wide-eyed expression. It’d been brewing ever since the weather drove the monkey to lounge in the back of the Jeep shirtless. Gojyo even could admire the golden tan Goku developed, the holy poof must have been meditating or some shit to keep his hands off. Hell, if Goku developed breasts to match, Gojyo certainly wouldn’t abstain.
All in all, the upcoming chaos would probably be well worth the babysitting duties.

Date: 2007-07-26 04:52 pm (UTC)I could imagine that he would be surprised. I mean, woah.
Sanzo: So when did you find time to have a kid?
Goku: *huggles clinging child* Uh, I have no idea.
Sanzo: ... *is thinking about locking Goku up and smexing him so that he doesn't have time to have another*
Goku: Sanzo...why are you looking at me like that? *sweatdrop*
XDDD Sorry. You always seem to prompt these random thoughts in my head. I blame you for those.
I'm sorry I haven't been on YIM. Lately my computer has been refusing to do anything like comment or get on messengers. I hope I can get it to work ASAP! Then you could tell me what you have in store...*evil cackle*

Date: 2007-07-26 03:28 pm (UTC)Kidding though. This story is 39, no matter how it starts, but probably not quite like you might think now. Besides, isn't daddy!Goku the cutest thing?
