I bought blank canvas today. I shall be painting again, soon as I get an idea. One notion is a mirror to the sun mask painting, but since it is huge (four times the area of SM), it won't be the moon mask I also planned (why hay thar, OCD!). Sister suggested a snow/moon queen, which I'm strongly considering, except I dunno how well will I do with cool pastel colours. My palette of paints is limited and mostly warm and I seem to have issues with mixing colours.

A tad late (~a week), but I have passed all my exams, most of them very well, and am therefore awesome. Granted, the 5 (A) I got in History of Art had more to do with the fact that I was pitted against a group of people who not only confuse Monet and Manet, but Boticelli with Titian. Yeah.

For reasons I have yet to understand on Monday I'm taking an exam in physics. Don't ask, I really have nothing. o.O

[livejournal.com profile] 7thnight_smut stories are going well. I finished one and the second is going good. ^____^

I love history of art, though I only started getting it when I started this particular course at uni. Before it was all renaissance this and baroque that, most confusing. Now though we got the woman who is genuinely interested in what she's saying, and she recommends awesome books - Gombrich Story of Art is the perfect example.

i asked my muse because she likes you
but her answers were strange
she has an idea for a story involving two draik and a tower in the city that has fallen in a book I have planned
she wants a portrait and when i pointed out the canvas was probably too big she suggested a really big portrait
then she started snarking about girls in fur and metal bikinis as an excuse to paint snow.

No girls in bikinis, though snow is indeed an option. :) I shall consider the towers, though you know I suck at landscapes.

*_* YESSSS. Paiiiiiint, paiiiiiiiiint. *the traditional art calls to you* XDDD

Don't you love art history? :3 My teacher this past semster talked to us reaaaaaally slooooooowly, probably for the benefit of non-English speakers, but it came out sounding like she thought we were a bunch of retarded 5-year-olds. I was seething through the entire class. I got an A, too. >.> *Has an artist mother*

Yes it does. :)

The reason I enjoyed the course this year is the woman who taught it. She gave us the basics in a way that didn't make us feel like morons, it was praise-worthy. :) Both my grandparents are professional painters, though I have always been a little blase when it comes to history of art. Not so much now!

The art I can understand because you're awsome at art. But physics? people that I know who are awsome at physics don't want to do physics tests.

Which is why I'm a little astounded I got myself into this. XD But hey, gotta try it all, no? :)

Nah~! You shouldn't worry too much. Physics is hard and their tests are killers but it's actually quiet fun. You have no idea how many times, during my study sessions, that I got a sudden bought of inspiration from what I was learning. And you like logic, so this is perfect; it just that your interests are so diverse.
