Duo Maxwell. ♥

a. My favorite thing about that character: the braid. No so much in itself, but hell, when a teenaged boy has the balls to carry his hair in a braid like that, that's gotta tell you plenty about his attitude.

b. My least favorite thing about that character: the clown persona. I'm not a big fan of brash people, even when it is just a mask.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse: I am a pretty devout 1x2 shipper, though I have a slight fetish for Duo with Wufei.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: Duo/Sanzo.

Goku

a. My favorite thing about that character: the simplicity. It makes him very complicated!

b. My least favorite thing about that character: he's a bit of a doormat where Sanzo's concerned. This seems like it's about to change, though. :)

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse: Sanzo.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: Goku/Death from the Sandman series. They'd have fun together!

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater: Discworld. Goku would love Ankh-Morpork!

f. Their ship from hell: Goku/Lirin. Dunno why, as I have a major kink for het!Goku'ships.

g. Their song: "Forca" by Nelly Furtado

h. The title of their biography or autobiography: the title Goku gave it would probably be The Journey West, though it would be later re-titled to better reflect the content: Culinary Review of the Territories Between Shangri La and India.

i. The last bad dream they had: nothing. Literally. Nothing with a hint of something knocking, too far to hear, too far to see, but with the certainty it is bad.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already: used as a battery/catalyst.

b. My least favorite thing about that character: I don't think there's something about him I don't like. :D It bugs me when people interpret him as weak or not psycho enough. :>

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: Hakkai/Carlisle from Twilight (I know, lol). Hakkai would probably have been the reason Carlisle went "vegetarian".

b. My least favorite thing about that character: I don't like that I don't know what is it that he wants. I mean, I can speculate that it is "I want someone to kill me", but "I'm bored" doesn't cut it.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse: Koumyou. Koumyou owned him from day one. :)

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: Ukoku/Lucifer. Yes, I know the universe would probably explode. XD

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater: same as Hakkai, I think he would be right at home in The Night Watch 'verse.

f. Their ship from hell: Kanzeon/Ukoku, her/him being the toppest top to ever top.

g. Their song: "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars

i. The last bad dream they had: Koumyou.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already: Sailor Moon will off him, with the power of love. XD Seriously though? I think he won't die. Not wholly. I think (should Sanzo and the party live) they will have pieces of Ukoku imbedded in them.

I'm afraid of what they might do together. XD Lucifer on created a new universe left to his own devices, Ukoku completely fucked up a race of people...

Ukoku is too cool to just die. I don't envy Minekura trying to come up with a final battle that wouldn't be overshadowed by what we've seen so far. :D

If it's a toss between the well-being of the entire Earth population vs the inherent hotness of Ukoku/Lucifer, I'm afraid I'm rooting for the hotness. "D

Yep. Hazel is a bit of a tragic hero, saving the day wouldn't really be consistent with what Minekura seemed to have had in store for him. Whoa, it shows that I can't wait for the next chapter ////////

Hm, Gojyo is a tough one.

a. My favorite thing about that character: I love how woobie he is. :) He poses for the big bad seducer, but at heart he is warm and loving.

b. My least favorite thing about that character: I don't like how he treats Goku sometimes.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: I think he'd have a ball with Inara from Firefly.

Mortal coil is the human world, I believe. It apparently comes from Hamlet's "shuffle off the mortal coil" meaning to die. My dictionary tells me it's chiefly in humorous contexts.

I was really apathetic towards Hakkai at the beginning and when I started reading fanfic it only got worse. It wasn't until I stumbled upon your 'Ain't Coming Back' that I started seeing him in a diff. light. After which he became epic.

Strangely enough I was pretty apathetic towards Hakkai too, but in my defence I started with the anime. He is tons more interesting in the manga, and then along came the flashbacks and I was sold. :) He is an evil, psychopathic bastard, and he is on the "good" side - I'm a complete sucker for evil protagonists.

So very true. His clothes got better with Reload (as did everybody's), but I still whine about Goku losing the pretty clothes he had during the Pippi era. :(
