This entry has been eaten by the Rich Text feature. *growl* About the movie: the plot has been mostly cut for time. We are treated instead to about an hour (out of two and a half hour movie) of teens making googly eyes and moogly eyes and kissing. Then there is half an hour of plot and tucked in between Draco Malfoy posing for the camera in a very attractive manner, cameos by any actor who wanted in on the movie, vague references to Lord of the Rings. I will be really curious to watch the next two movies, as this one said, quite explicitly, that the Horcruxes can be any ordinary object. Obviously, the fact that Ronald was pulling Lavender on the side will prove helpful on the epic camping trip. Neville made it his business to appear in every group shot, even though his only line was about serving drinks. If they cut Neville from the last movie, I shall be very cross. Luna, thankfully, was cool.
I'll be away until the end of August. :) See you all when I get back! <3

Clearly hp is capitalizing on the Twilight movie. Or the screenwriters got together and had drinks. "Let's see if we can have relationships based solely on creepy staring."

And I really think Neville was slighted. Maybe we'll get more of him during the Camping Trip from Hell movies. Hopefully. And I liked Draco's scene (despite the fact that he was prettier when he was younger... I swear I didn't mean to sound like a pedophile!) He's just not as pretty, is he?

Yeah, that's exactly what we thought. "We have a book full of plot," they said, "but the most recent teenie hit had five minutes of plot, altogether! Let's see what we can chuck out. A plot point important in the next movie? Who has *that* attention span? OUT!"

Ideally the second movie would mostly omit Harry Potter and the Camping Trip and focus on Neville Longbottom: The Year I Ruled Hogwarts. Yeah, I know, fat chance of that happening. :(

The shots of Draco in the movie were ridiculously pretty. Every single one. It's like the director noticed all the women are either crazy, mothers, underage or old, and needed some really pretty shots. XD
