Caves and other facts of life.
Aug. 20th, 2009 07:58 pmI don´t like woking with teenaged boys. They think they are oh so amusing and mature, and I just want to strangle the lot. Argh.
Am typing this on my mobile phone, so please excuse lateness in replying.
Anyhoo. I had a very peculiar day, including a cave which required the use of a rope. Funky. I have no idea how deep was the place where we were, but it was pretty spooky to sit there with no light, just listening. :)
As a bonus we found a cache. That puts three on my account, so yay me! I still have claustrophobia, but luckily it´s reasonable and only acts up in very small caves.

Date: 2009-09-04 10:15 am (UTC)XD My fellow counsellor went into the caves not long after she watched The Descent , which is a movie about a cave eating people, more or less. The Wendigo would have trouble with this cave, it's too small to stand in! As seen here (http://goorowanie.w.interia.pl/wspin/sucha4.jpg).
