1. When I started shipping them

Before I even watched Gundam Wing. ^_____^ They were just there!

2. What I think their challenge is

Their mutual issues with commitment, abandonment and trust. They are both a psychiatrist's wet dream, so as long as they manage to find a healthy balance between their neuroses, all will be well.

3. What makes me happy about them

They are complimentary, and their neuroses overlap in areas that they need to work out together rather than separately if they want to be together. Fics crackle and pop!

4. What makes me sad about them

No matter how stoic/clown-like the front the put up, they are both insanely damaged. Also, PTSD is not just a string of letters.

5. What moment I wish had never happened

I don't think there is one.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other

For Heero, Relena. Provided she grows up as well as Endless Waltz indicated she would, they would be happy together. For Duo, I have always been secretly fond of Duo/Wufei.

7. My happily ever after for them

They would move in together, join the Preventers together, and pretty much limp through life as best as two traumatised soldiers can. Which, given their respective talents, would be pretty well indeed.

That is so true. They both have issues coming out of their ears, which is part of the fun. :D
