1. When I started shipping them

Short answer: Castiel walked in in episode 4.01. That was just about enough. XD

2. What I think their challenge is

Aside from massive issues they both have, like Castiel being an angel (though apparently that's no longer a big issue) and Dean human, you mean? Heh. I would have to say it's Sam. Dean has a very simple, hierarchical brain, and the hierarchy goes #1 Sam, #2 saving people #3 hunting things #4 everything else. So, Castiel would have to deal with being in a very triangular relationship.

3. What makes me happy about them

C'mon, Dean is enough on his own, but there's also an angel and a human! How much more happy do I need?

4. What makes me sad about them

This is Supernatural, so there is pain and suffering coming their way.

5. What moment I wish had never happened

The Jimmy episode. It sucked for many reasons, only one of them being that I like my version of events better. Also, I don't like the whole vessel business.

6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other

Sam and Dean are going to be together anyway, so them. Castiel is probably going to pine away on his own, poor dear.

7. My happily ever after for them

They'd take over an abandoned farmhouse, hunt occasionally, raise some orphans, probably, because Dean loves kids. :)
