I hate you, kudos button. Haaaaaate youuuuu. I mean, I love getting kudos and I love you guys for letting me know you liked the fic, but still, haaate youuu, kudos button. :( I mean, I would hate it a little less, except the comment box is feeling empty and is whining about it. STFU, whiner, no one likes whiners!

Yay! Used a reference but did this without tracing, for one, and I'm very pleased. :D If I could somehow find a job painting Ben Barnes over and over I would probably die of workaholism.

Date: 2011-03-23 03:22 am (UTC)I have to say, AO3 leaves me cold. I've been on there for a year, and have a grand total of 2 comments, 1 kudo and not all that many hits. Thank the gods I didn't start out there, I probably would have stopped writing. I guess kudos is better than just crickets chirping in the silence, but like you say, the comment box gets lonely.

Date: 2011-03-23 01:03 pm (UTC)I'm meh about AO3, it's a good archive, useful, the hit counter is more accessible than the one on ff.net and the fic quality overall is miles better, but it's just what it says on the tin, fic archive, not a community. I like the hit counter, I really like the kudos (despite the above, I mean XD) but comments are my favourite part of the ficcing experience. Okay, right after writing the bloody thing in the first place, goes without saying.
