Well, damn.
Jan. 25th, 2004 05:27 pmI've been sooo not up to date with updating the journal. I'm working at several fics at once, plus I'm applying for a uni right now, so tim is scarce here. Not to mention the school, which is being particulary nasty these days. I still need to write an essay or something, which is not going to be good, I can feel it. And tomorrow will be absolute hell - I wonder if I should even go back home before 9 p.m. It sounds like a really bad idea, considering that I have stuff to do at 4.15 p.m. (lessons end at 2.30, way back home - half an hour). I don't know how I'm going to manage, but there's gotta be a way, right? Hopefully.
I don't know if I already have bragged about books here - right now I'm supposed to read 'Different World' by Gustaw Herling Gruzinski. This (right after reading 'Medallions' by Zofia Nalkowska and stories by Tadeusz Borowaski) will make sure I'll be depressed for the next century! Probably there won't be anymore sleep for me too. I don't deny the importance of this books, but reading three of them in a row? I know that times were serious and that we need to remember, but some lines should be drawn. I'm just a kiddo. I suppose I need to know what mankind is capable of, but...
Anyway. Something less serious. ... Looks like there is nothing else. Except the deadlines that are running to meet me, not stopping for a second. Hello, I'm just a one person! Slow down a bit! Plus, I really need to start learning British history. The contest is approaching...
I'll go and yawn for a minute longer. Byebye journal.
