I really had a movie day today. I have watched 'Hero', part of 'Pirates of the Carribean' and parts of 'Anger Management'. Also, I've just finished watching 'Earth Girl Arjuna' Tv series. So... Wanna hear me brag?
Ooookie. Let's see. First, let's deal with the Pirates. I haven't seen all of them, but from what I've seen there is a couple that has *chemistry* to them, and it most certainly isn't Will and Elisabeth. Elisabeth is alright, I suppose, but Jack Sparrow is way better. Don't even let me get stared on Will and Jack - the fight they pulled off in the end was something really spectacular. ^_^ cough'the right place for me is here beside Jack'cough. Don't mind me. Even if the movie was rather naive.
Then there is Heero, oops, Hero. I've seen that before in a cinema, so now what can I say? I think it is a great movie. I generally like Asian movies, they are simple and poetic yet elegant. This one is to normal films like novellas are to poetry. You can guess that I rather like some poetry. I love the fight scenes and the fact that there is so little blood there - in the whole movie there was a whole lot of ... a spoonful plus a drop? And it was coughed up in rasping last breath, which generally seems to be the case in most American films. However I was pretty surprised when it was the Snowflake who stabbed the Broken Sword in the red part - I would have thought it would be Luna, after what he did to her ^_^'
I'm going now to write some more of 'A World in a Grain of Sand'. Don't ask about the manga - it lies and squeaks, pitifully.
