Now this is one thing I have never expected to say. *looks bewildered* I have too much free time. Boy, is that a scary thought.

It is funny actually, four years ago, as I was starting High School, everyone was telling me that it wasn't as simple as primary school, the pressure, the stress - all in all, better avoid it. And on top of it al, I'd have to take the final exams. Now that they're here, all that fabled pressure has totally disappeared.

Starting from the beginning: we are compalled to pass Polish, one paper and oral exam. Then a chosen subject, again a paper and an oral, and a foreign language, orally. Since I'm, technically speaking, in a class with a math-physics profile, I should be taking math as the second subject. I thought whatever for I need to sweat so much, and chose English. Then I accidentaly went to some-or-other contest and guaranteed myself the highest grade without even trying! So, all I had left was the Polish paper, oral and German also oral.

The paper was such a disaster! I have no idea what kind of an idiot actually gave us topics, but they need retuning. Honestly! The only more-or-less free was about poetry! Poetry! Of course I took it, since the others... better not go there. Turned out I got a 5. *biiig grin* that's why I got excused from the oral. Which would be a disaster, since it requires actual info from me, info that I fought tooth and nail against.

Lucky me, it's almost over. Just CPE exam is looming around the corner...

Feels kind of sad, to be leaving High School. And yes, I'm damn scared of going to a University. Is that actually sad... *hughs her room* To top it all I'm supposed to move to a totally uncharted wilderness, aka London. *whimpers in fright*

Need to go and see 'Troy'. Wonder how good it actually is. Sigh. I'm not that big of an enthusiast of battle movies. Sure the tiny figures running across the screan and screaming bloody murder are fun, but then it usually gets down to bloody murder, which is so totally no fun.

Read and amusing thing yesterday: Fellowship of the Ring, when Boromir gets flushed... eh, nobly buried in a waterfall, they had a wax figure of him lying on the set, one of the technicians actually wanted to offer him something to drink! Poor guy.

Another frightening realisation: I'm addicted to Garfield. Sad, sad times aproach... But then again, talks the person who breaks down crying while watching cartoons.

When you think about it: he gots flat out dumped on his ass every time something bad happens. It's always poor Sam who gets to haul him out, and the loser actually dumps him! So maybe book Frodo wasn't exactly the most self-suffiecient of creatures, but hey, at least he wasn't such a push-over. *shakes head* If Sam wasn't so hopelessly in love, things might have ended bad, very, very bad. *sees black clouds looming over the Middle-Earth horizon*

Why do people look at me funny when I tell them I actually read the whole 'Silmarillion'? It wasn't that bad, was it? And to think I'm still gathering courage to read the Bible...

You´ll be studying in London? Wow. Congratulations! :) I´m studying the U here in Ostrava since I simply can´t afford anything else :( And the U is so cool. I think - at least for me - it´s easier than the high school.

And, girl, I read the Bible... and if you´re not a religious fanatic... well, lets just say that I hate it to pieces!!! >.< The men are cowards and women are treated like floor rugs! Well, but maybe it´s just me... :)

Heyyy...um, been meaning to check out your journal for a while, just never got around to it. ^^ On the subject of the Silmarillion--yeah, I get those looks. They're the same ones you get when you tell people that you read Shakespeare for fun. For about the same reason, too...the writing style and the English itself is older usage, more formal and symbolic, and it's hard for some people to deal with. (That is, people who like to have everything they read spoon-fed to them... x.x) But I read the Silmarillion and enjoyed it, so I guarantee it can be done. Agree with you about movie Frodo, too...he's almost an entirely different character.

Anyway...just saying hi!
