Well, it's an experience.

I had an accident today. Car accident, I mean. It was only a collision actually, but hey, it still counts! Nothing bad happened, so no worries really. I did manage to smash the light on the driver's side and dent the door of the other car. o.O Luckily, it's only cars, and the damage is reasonably minor. It wasn't really bad either. I was turning left, but my indicator didn't work (possibly because I didn't press it hard enough) and these guys tried to overtake us, I didn't notice, and WHAM. I got a ticket, points off my license and everything. Gee, now I feel like a proper driver. *grins*
It happened right by our home, so even the fact that we had to wait for the police for about an hour was okay - for us, not the other guys. I spoiled their evening, I fear.

One thing that does spook me, is how calm I was about the whole thing. I know nothing really happened, but I feel like a cold fish. x.X

In other news... Next week I'm going away for two weeks. A fortnight on a yacht, yippie!

*clings* Your message on Y!M scared me, Kei-chan!! ><;;; I had to rush over here. Oh my god, are you alright? Are you sure? A lot of the time, the pain comes later, after you've cooled down and finished with the shock bit. If you experience any pain at all, you should look into it, because it could get serious later on in your life.

Yes, I'm perfectly fine - it wasn't really even an accident, more of a graze, to the car, and even the car was only slightly damaged. No need to worry, honey. *hugs*

*hugs* But neither of us was really hurt, so it's not that bad! And don't worry, my baby sis does the pampering. So I'm going to be fine. *huggles*

*hugs* not so fun to crash. Glad to hear you and the car are okay. Don't understand how you were at fault even with dodgy indicator though- shouldn't they have overtaken on the right?

Technically, I was supposed to be looking whether someone was trying to overtake me. So, my fault for turning at the wrong moment. We drive on the right side of the road, so overtaking is done on the left. They shouldn't have overtaken us on the crossroads though.
