Successss!!
There is a reason I'm posting fics on LJ raw and unbetaed (usually). I'm hoping someone will tell me if something doesn't work. ~_____^
I ended up not using the ending I had written around chapter eight. It didn't fit. I'm hoping you like this one! Less action more cute. And lookit, I didn't kill anyone else!

Lazy Wednesday.
I like Wednesdays. Wednesdays are wonderfully lazy.
Ficcy: And so, the cliffie from chapter 16 is resolved. ^______^ This, I think, will only have one more chapter. I have a good idea how and why, just need to reason it out properly. Yay, almost finished!

Don't talk to me about life
Word to the wise: if you encounter a puddle 12 inches deep, do not drive through it. Engine + water = hardware error.
We watched the Firefly episode "Out of Gas" yesterday, and I am once again suffering from the "who in their right mind made the decision to cancel this" syndrome. To better my mood, and to celebrate Saiyuki #6 finally being released, I set to work on ACB. I thought this part would be shorter than usual, but it turned out it's not. Or at least not much shorter. *grins* You'll see why I wanted to end this chapter where I did.

I'm still not sure about the ending of this chapter. It seems too fuzzy. But anyway. I finally did something to push the story forward, yay!

eta: I think that I finally got the LiveJournal IM to work. So, if anyone also managed, you probably know better than me what to do. ;P

Turning goth!
I cut my hair. It's been what, two years? And my hair grows rather fast. It's now about shoulder-length, most of it, and annoying as hell. But looks okay. Am contemplating dyeing it black/blue. Just for kicks. :P
Something of a deus ex machina in this part, but for a good cause!
( Ain't Coming Back, part 10 )
You can see where this is going, can't you?

Daaaamn. I really hate my sleeping patterns. I fail at sleeping.
Thank heavens for Em! Wheeeee, Supernatural season two!
In other news, essay went... weird. I suppose it happens, when you get a handful of words to explain a concept as broad as the blueness of the sky. Here's hoping.
More exciting news,
kispexi2_2 wrote a fun-tastic Saiyuki/Firefly crossover. Seriously. Sanzo and Mal on one ship. And she does the Firefly 'verse so awesomely, you know you want to check it out. Because, well, "too gorram pretty to die" says it all.
Since she said it was supposed to be a one-shot, I of course went and did this: ( Fruity, oaty bars! )

Dear Lappie. Start making sense, PLZ. I got that IE7 is not for you, when you rejected it for the fifth time. So excuse me for freaking out when the sixth download attempt went down without a hitch.
Love, me.
I finally finished Night Watch, uh, last week. Fascinating stuff. I shall have to track the movie down, I hear it's quite good too. So now there's only one thing to say: *headdesks repeatedly* STFU, bunnies!!!!

Books. And words.
I managed to track the Serenity novelisation finally. It disappointed. I probably shouldn't be all that surprised, but Revenge of the Sith got my hopes up, and the first two were quite decent as well. The original trilogy books had their moments ("What's a duck?" for instance), whereas Serenity is not quite an example of how not to write, but definitely of how to make awesome dialogue suck. Way to go, Keith DeCandido!
On the other hand, read Anansi Boys, and really, really liked it. Didn't think I would, after the first half, but the running from birds scene won me over (in the same way SPN won me over, lol). It was awesome, overall. Go Charlie! Go Spider!
In other news: Bill wins. Yay for Shakespeare: Return of the Author!
Riiiight. The fic. Hm. There's this, there's quite possibly the next two(?) parts planned, possibly three, a rough sketch of the ending and great big nothing in between. That's what I get for not including Reavers. *sulks* We'll see how it plays out.

我的傻嬉
I've officially given up on pretending to be diurnal. And my current schedule is not helping in the least. So yeah, it's now half-four and I'm typing away. Pff.
I got my Chinese test back, and yay! Nearly a hundred percent, joy! And the text I wrote out in Chinese characters, just for kicks, was quite correct, apart from some minor mistakes, like consistent use of the wrong character for possessive pronoun. But I'm told it's okay, since most Chinese people who weren't educated much make that mistake too. Score for me!
Ah. Hakkai is being psychotic. Also people are being killed. Just a friendly warning.
( Ain't Coming Back, part 5 )
( Yay, I'm now overenthusiastic about Mandarin: bonus for Firefly fans. Swearing )
Chinese characters are so very pretty. ^_______^

A narrow margin of 10K
Funny thing happened recently. I was writing this story and I couldn't seem to stop. I usually have trouble with breaking 3K and the story ended up being just short of 13. It's a lousy time to lose the ability to write short stories, seeing as I've to submit the C&CW coursework next week. x_________X
I had something to say, but I completely forgot what it was. Damn. While I try to remember, please enjoy the ficcy.

My C&CW assignment:
I'm allowed to be within 10% of the word limit, either way. Meaning, there's editing to be done. Meaning: helloooooo footnotes. *grins* At least I'm done plot-wise. I hope. o.O

65% of Chicken.
I still find the food labelling industry ridiculous, but the percentage of chicken in chicken worries me. No really, it does. *sigh*
Suddenly I need to recall every romance novel I have read. I haven't read many, so I can recall them quite well, but sadly without authors and/or titles. Damn.
Every single time I walked into a library, I've always seen the Serenity novelisation. Except for the last three times, when I was looking for it. *growls* I hate it what that happens. I shall have to make do with Slaughterhouse #5.
